I'm new to this newsgroup and don't know if this topic has been discussed before. I'm considering buying a 20-meg Hard Disk Card for an original IBM PC, so that I 1.) won't lose a floppy 2.) won't need a hard drive controller card and 3.) won't need a new power supply. Is this a good idea? I'm considering buying the THE 20MB by mail order in March 1987 BYTE on page 223. It costs 375.00. The Mail order company is PC Network. Most Hard Cards around Atlanta are from Plus Development for about $650. Any opinions on my purchase would be greatly appreciated. Tom Friedel
