In response to a query in the most recent digest... the data migration
facility offered by IBM is specific to the PS/2 family of computers. It
requires the "bidirectional" parallel port available on these machines.
It also only works in one direction. There are third parties who sell
alternatives however that do not have these limitations. However, for
$35.00 it works really well and is really quite fast (maybe half the speed
of a file by file floppy access, or at least thats what it seems like).
