I saw in ad in PC Week for a 1200 baud external Samsung modem for $89. 1) Any experience with this modem? Good or bad? 2) Is it Hayes compatible? (the sales lady said that it was, but I had to spell 'Hayes' for her when I asked, so I don't put too much stock in her answer :-) Advertiser was: Applied Technology, Inc. 1745 E. 7th Street Los Angeles, CA 90021 (212) 612-0993 I asked, and they don't accept Visa or Mastercard, preferring to ship UPS COD.
