The answer is simple -- Qedit 1.30 does everything except page to disk, your files can be as big as ram, this is ***THE FASTEST*** editor available for the PC (in my opinion), upt to 2 windows and 32k or so multiple files. Oh yea, the best thing is... IT's SHAREWARE!!! p.s. I have used SPF-PC and "What a joke of an editor!!!" Qedit is about 100 times as fast with screen I/O and 50 times as fast with file I/O.
