hello. It has just become necessary for me to become something of an expert on PCs. I am already a knowledgeable user, but I've pretty much treated the base level electronics as a black box. Question- can anybody recommend a good book or two that will explain the intricacies of memory addresses and chip modes and such without wasting my time explaining how to boot the machine? thanks. -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ARPA: gorin@media-lab.media.mit.edu * I'd love to, but I have to stay UUCP: mit-eddie!mit-amt!gorin * home and back up my hard disk.
