Does anyone know of a simple way to detect the presence of extended memory in a PC/XT/AT ? I've waded through a Norton book or two ( you'd think I would know better, yes? ) to no avail and am now throwing myself on the mercy of the net. As always, thanks in advance! ================================================ Jack Stephens, ...!man!dsi480!dtr Resident Visitor ( a great, if obfuscatory, term) Digital Source, Inc., SD, CA voice: 1+619-453-0809 ================================================

There's a nice discussion of how to detect EMS or EEMS expanded memory in the May 1987 issue of PC Tech Journal. ... sdcsvax!crash!pnet01!kb5mu or williams@macomw.ARPA
