Posters, PLEASE, when you are complaining about a missing feature in a product or the product crashing your system, make it clear what version you are running and on what machine. I have seen NONE of the problems with the MKS Toolkit that have been described thus far. I am running Release 2.1d on both an AT&T PC6300 and an IBM PC. I have found two nits, both of which have been reported to MKS. 1. If you "cmp" two files, one of which is an extension of the other (by appending data), cmp will give an error message about hitting EOF on the first file, but will set the exit code for a successful compare. 2. HERE documents don't work in the Korn shell. A character (decimal value 246) is inserted between lines. MKS has a fix available for this and says that it is fixed in their upcoming release.
