I have been getting bits and pieces of information on "Hot Boxes" that can be attached as co-processors to PCs and clones. Does anyone out ther have any solid information on these babies? That is: -Who makes them. -Operating system to run them. I beleive some of them use UNIX, but, is it necessary to boot the system from them, or a DOS shell will suffice? -Speed (I've heard about humongous speeds.. 30 MIPS?) -Reliability. -Software that can run and/or use these boxes. -Pricing. Any information about any of the above or other points will be greatly appreciated. Bruno W.
