[comp.sys.ibm.pc] simulating Shift-Prtsc and Ctrl-Prtsc from a program

bruce@dolqci.UUCP (Bruce Limber) (06/29/87)

This is probably old hat, but I missed it.

How does one simulate Shift-Prtsc and Ctrl-Prtsc to allow a program to
print the current screen, or toggle the print-screen option on or off?

I'm looking for the usual relocatable hex code (for inline insertion),
and/or POKEs or their equivalent in high-level language.

Please post a reply, or email directly to me.

TIA!

At least on the XT, INT 5 does what Shift-Prtsc does.
