I've been using Kermit as my terminal program when I connect to the Penn State System. The only problem is that I haven't found what to program the Back-Space, the Insert-Key and a Key to clear the screen. I've been able to program all my function keys to do what I want them to but I can't find out what values I should use for the 3 above listed Keys. Maybe I shouldn't say that, I can turn on insert and clear the screen buy using the Shift-F8 and Shift-F6 respectivly. And if i could make the Back-Space do what that the Left-Arrow I'd be happy. Could anyone help me with the values of the 3 above keys? Also I'm using a AT&T PC6300 and Penn State is using a Yale Telecommunications Package. Leon Geesey Penn State Univ

If you can get your AT&T PC to look like the IBMPC, you can get YTERM from Penn State CC that runs on your pc. I use it all the time. In fact, the package comes with a script language that dials in, signs on and puts you into full screen 3270 mode with all pfkeys in logical places... Send me mail locally if you want more detail. ------- Keep Smiling (-:-) --Indra K.
