My EGA has 256K bytes on it of which I probably only use a fraction for my monochrome display. I wonder if it is possible to use some of the memory on the EGA card to store data while I am not using any of the graphics modes. Does anyone know if this is possible? How does the EGA memory map into the PC memory map? Is it bank switched? I know some of it maps to where the display memory on the EGA's predicessor cards goes, but all 256K? Any help would by muchly appreceated. Thank you. -- ============================================================================= Motorola Semiconductors Tom Spohrer Austin, Texas {seismo,gatech,ihnp4}!ut-sally!oakhill!toms

Do you mean that your EGA card talks TTL? Is this true for most (all) EGA cards? What kind of card are you using? If they generaly talk TTL then I just found the answer to my problem.
