My wife has a Sears SR3000 "Electronic Graduate" typewriter for which Sears sells an interface box and a cable to convert it into a printer. What could possibly be in this box that would justify a $150 price tag? There is a 40 pin connecter inside the typewriter--its position (not easily accessible with the top housing on) leads me to think that its main purposes are factory testing and service diagnostics. If anyone out there knows a cheaper way to make this thing talk to a PC, please reply. Thanks, Bob Burton
