I have been testing an Everex 1800 AT and all was ok till i put
a board (actually an Ethernet driver) that uses IO_RDY to insert
wait-states while doing a memory refresh (on the board's memory)
The actual effect is the AT not booting. If you disable the IO_RDY
line on the board, all is ok but the board that (curiously ;-)
refuses to do it's job.
I've tried the board on IBM's and other compatibles and works ok;
I've also tried Everex' AMI BIOS on an IBM AT with the board and
that also works!
Reducing Everex speed to 6MHz didn't.
Any suggestions?

"You mean you can't take less," said the Hatter:
"it's very easy to take more than nothing."
