I own an a Turbo AT-clone, set to run at 6Mhz at bootup. Upon pressing Ctrl-Alt-Grey Minus, the speed changes to 10Mhz. Upon pressing Ctrl-Alt-Grey Minus again, the speed changes back to 6 Mhz. The BIOS is the 'Phoenix 80286 ROM BIOS Version 3.06' (or at least that's what it says at bootup). I am looking for a program, preferably a debug script to create a program, that will change speed for me. If it is necessary to use 2 programs, one to change to 10Mhz, and one to change to 6Mhz, that's okay. I have two other questions (besides just 'Does anyone have these?'), which may be rather stupid, because I am new to this type of thing. These are: Why can't you just write a program to put the ascii code or whatever for Ctrl-Alt-Grey Minus into the keyboard buffer? Why can't I use the same programs used on a Turbo-XT clone to change speed? Any help would be really appreciated.
