[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Free Software, tgtbt?

Netlanders--
Has anyone ordered the "Free Database and Spread Sheet and Expert System"
from PC Magazine for $20? It seems tgtbt (too good to be true). For those
of you who haven't seen the add it says that they only charge $20 for the 4
disks, advertising and the postage necessary. It's written in basic and
sounds good on paper. I guess even if the software is no good that you have
  4 disks.

I believe you're referring to the offer by Potomac Pacific Engineering.
The offer is legitimate. The software exists and really works. I have not
evaluated it extensively. It does appear serviceable, but the slowness!!!
(Running under BASIC interpreter). Perhaps these + QuickBasic would be
a good combination.
