What kind of security systems are there for PCs that are reasonably foolproof? Foolproof should mean (at least) that it cannot be circumvented by booting from a floppy, etc. I tried a shareware program called PC-LOCK, -- james king I have a very effective security measure which comes with my Compaq 386--a lock on the front panel which locks the lid and shuts off the keyboard. I can leave it running--even executing something--which cannot be interrupted. -- Robert Reed, Tektronix CAE Systems Division, bobr@zeus.TEK
