References: Keywords: How can you tell if you have pushed your luck on power consumption? I'm using an IBM PC/XT (130 watt power supply) with standard 256k memory, floppy and 10 mb drive, AST Six Pack (384k, serial, etc), PMI Fastcard IV (2mb, serial, etc), Tecmar Graphics Master, Breakthru 286 accelerator, and of course winchester and floppy controllers. Is that too much? The system is flakey since I added the Fastcard IV, although I don't believe there is any problem with that board. Alternately, do I need special cooling? Information, experience, insight, educated guesses welcome. Thanks in advance. -- George M.
