A handicapped (quadrapalegic) architect who works using an NEC APC IV (AT clone) with voice control needs suggestions for telephone control software. His architectural application (AUTOCAD) needs virtually the entire available RAM to run, but is is possible to open a DOS shell of 100-125K within it. He needs a program that will allow him to both dial and pick up the phone from within this shell. TI Phone manager, his current program is too big - 126K plus running space - and seems to have lots of features that he really doesn't need. Because its so big, he has to drop AUTOCAD every time he wants to answer the phone. The switch from AUTOCAD to Phone Manager takes about 30 seconds, and the switch in the other direction (less critical, since drawings don't hang up) is even longer. This would be greatly improved if he could operate the phone from the shell opened in AUTOCAD. Any suggestions for paring down the TI Phone Manager, or leads on available alternatives would be greatly appreciated. It would certainly help this guy a lot. thanks.
