A friend of mine is using a HP7470A plotter with Lotus 1-2-3 via the COM1
RS-232C interface. Now, a quickie 3-wire hookup (TD, RD, and GND) works
fine with a couple control lines at the PC end tied active, but ....
I'd appreciate finding out the "official" hookup/switch configuration/etc.
so we can have some handshaking. Right now, he has to keep the data rate
low so as to avoid overrunning the plotter buffer, not to mention other
obvious ungood drawbacks.
So, if you could e-mail me what works for you, I'd appreciate it very much.
