It seems that the DOS interrupt 0x25 (absolute disk sector read) can only be used to read the first 720 sectors on a high density floppy (installed in the high density drive of an AT). I've had to use the bios disk service 2 in order to read all 2400 sectors. I've been using DOS int 0x25 and 0x26 to do absolute reads and writes to every sector on a high density disk. Works fine. I used a routine in MSC 4.0 which calls the interrupt. > Dominick Samperi > Manhattan College > ...!{ihnp4|seismo|rutgers|philabs}!cmcl2!manhat!samperi > ...!{ihnp4|seismo}!{pur-ee|iuvax}!bsu-cs!zoo-hq!magpie!samperi -- Dean Brunette {ucbvax, etc.}!hplabs!oliveb!olivej!dragon Olivetti Advanced Technology Center _____ _____ __|__ _____ 20300 Stevens Creek Blvd. | | _____| | | Cupertino, CA 95014 |_____| |_____| |__ |_____
