I don't seem to be able to get an answer to the following question from conventional sources, so I'd appreciate any comments readers may have. I use ProComm on a Toshiba 1100+ while traveling, and recently bought an HP Black Jack to use on phones without modular plugs. This is an adapter that fits onto the mouthpiece of a telephone. The instructions that came with the Black Jack are incomprehensible - apparently it's necessary to dial a number with the buttons on the telephone rather than from the communications program in my computer. However, ProComm aparently does not have a way to dial except from the computer. Is there any way out of this situation?
