[comp.sys.ibm.pc] ERROR IN directory stack for mks ksh

keithe@tekgvs.TEK.COM (Keith Ericson) (08/29/87)

First of all, the dirstack stuff I sent out is erroneous in that the
popd +n function counts from the wrong end of the stack. (This is MY
fault, not David Stewart's: his implementation didn't include popd +n
and I messed up in writing it.)

Secondly, pushd "...with a numeric argument rotates the nth argument
around to the top element and changes to it" [BSD 43. man page for csh].
But the version I sent out does an exchange of the two locations. This
is also wrong.

SOOOOoooo - throw the thing out. It ain't worth the bits to blow it
away. And My Sincere Apologies!!! (I cancelled the message - you may
never even see it. Lucky you.)
