My wife works for a company which uses an IBM S/36 machine. They need more terminals and are thinking of connecting PC's instead of normal synchronous terminal. It seems that there is a card which when put into IBM PC's which emulates IBM's synchronous protrocol. 1. Does anyone have any experience of this? 2. Are there any other manufacturers of such boards except IBM? 3. What software is needed? (IBM supplies some, but what if one uses a board from an other manufacturer?). 4.
