I am trying to locate a public domain or shareware program for staff to use in an academic computer center to schedule student workers. Nothing particularly fancy; it should run on MS-DOS machine. So far, I've checked several collections, including PC-SIG, PC BLUE, and the Public (Software) Library and can only find things like programs to keep track of time using computers or general appointment programs which, in a pinch, could be used but aren't altogether satisfactory. (I'm surprised this isn't already available for small businesses to use to do employee time sheets, vacation schedules, etc.) I realize that a dbms or spreadsheet program could be used for this activity, but the person I'm trying to find this for has already been using a spreadsheet program to do this and doesn't want to continue to go this route. Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions. (I'll be happy to post to the net any answers I receive.) --Carolyn -- Carolyn Kotlas (kotlas@ecsvax) UNC-Educational Computing Service P. O.
