I have a friend who is looking for software to help her teach Hindi
at the college level. She's not currently computer-literate, but
she'd like to find out about programs available on IBM mainframes
under VM/CMS, on the IBM PC, and on the Macintosh. I know computers,
but not Hindi, so between the two of us, we should be able to judge
whether a particular program might suit her needs. Any information
would be appreciated.

Hello There is a company called Gamma Productions, INC 213-394-8622 which has a product called Multi-Lingual. It is supposed to be able to alow one to write different languages. Total package is about $500.00. I did not find their customer response too good.
