The Stonehenge discussion has generated a lot of flak (some of it undeservedly directed at myself) because of the number of news groups to which it has been posted. I therefore suggest that further discussions on this subject be confined to net.sci since it is concerned with archaeology, anthropology, and astronomy, and has nothing whatsoever to do with Celtic culture. I would also like to take this opportunity to purpose a new news group, net.arch-astro for discussions about the subject of archaeo-astronomy. I personally have a great interest in this subject and would like to trade ideas about it with other netwits. Please mail your thoughts on the purposed newsgroup to me and, if interest is high enough, I'll see if I can get our SA to implement it. Or just start posting articles on the subject to net.sci. That would probably be a better gauge of the interest in this subject than the number of letters I receive. (I hope you're ecstatic that I only posted this to one newsgroup)
