I know the following instructions are rather detailed and lengthy
but this is only to be certain that we can come up with a nice,
neat and complete list of "NET-SYSOPS" (add this one to the dictionary).
I have gone through great pains to generate the following list and
will gladly maintain it so long as people read this message and follow
instructions AND feel that this list might be of use. New versions of
this list will be posted on a bi or tri monthly bases depending on the
number of modifications to be added. Please note the date and version
of each list to be sure you get the latest information.
VERSION 1.00 (Probe Version) *** NOTE "AREA"=Information Area
Since this is the first version of the list, it is very incomplete.
Most of the replies I recieved did not contain ALL of the information
I thought would be usefull or was too ambiguous to determine. To anyone
who is not listed and thought you had sent me mail, I did not recieve it
or I did not recieve enough data to add your name. To those of you who
are listed below, you may not be able to find your name or your board's
name, I suggest searching for your UUCP address or phone numbers. If you
wish to add your board to this list (if it is not there allready), send me
the information in the format provided below.
I am trying to maintain a "field" type list. All data begins at column
thirteen *(13)* including comments or added lines. I was unable to
decipher some UUCP addresses and probably did not get them all correct.
if you wish to make your address more complete or add multiple ones,
this is fine, just be sure each line begins in column 13.
I would like to fill all the >>> UNKNOWN <<< fields, so PLEASE search
for your board and correct your area and the send the entire area back
to me (even the info. that is correct) so I may simply "paste" over the
old stuff. Some fields are slightly ambiguouse and some are missing.
These fields are mostly "assumed", for example, if no "HOURS:" field is
listed, then the board is assumed to be 24 hours. Fields that I would
like to include in ALL areas are included below, optional fields are
marked with a "*".

the above format, follow the example describing my board (first area).
By the way, I know that there is only one area here that is complete,
mine. Therefore, I expect a lot of responses to this first version.
If you can find no errors or see no additions that need to be made,
look closer, I believe that your missing something.
