How can I keep my screen from bouncing? In the application I am working on, I need to clear the screen, then put up a new text display. If I put up the display immediately, it appears to "bounce" -- the text for line zero seems to appear *above* line zero, then settle into place. If I stall the program (for about .2 seconds) between clearing the screen and putting up the display, it doesn't happen. Is this a peculiarity of my hardware, or is there a software technique I don't know about? I have tried using Interrupt 10H service 0, service 6, or service 9 to clear the screen. I am using service 9 to write the display to the screen. I am using Microsoft C 4.0 with MS-DOS 3.1 on an Olivetti M24 (XT clone) with a color/graphics adaptor. The monitor is the one Olivetti distributes with the M24. Thanks for your assistance. -- Judy +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ | Judy Daniluk | Bunker Ramo : an Olivetti Company | | {yale, decvax, philabs}!bunker!jdd | 2 Enterprise Dr, Shelton, CT 06484 | +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
