I'm looking for information on using EMS with Microsoft C. My application gets very close to the hardware, so I still need to be able to install my own interrupt handlers and poke the serial port. I either heard or read of an emerging EMS standard. Does anyone have information on the standard? Which hardware vendors have the best currently available product? And what catches are there in using EMS with existing applications? Any help you give will be greatly appreciated.
