I am working on several educational projects that will require the
use of an assortment of graphic routines. What i am looking for
are routines to do low level (point plot, lines, etc.) and high
level (animation) work. If any one has any information on any
libraries or kernels, please mail me the information about them
and i will summarize all the responses and post it.
The following topics should be considered:
machine: PC, XT, AT, System 2 (30, 50, 60, 80)
(if any restrictions)
adapter: CGA, MCGA, EGA, VGA, PGA
language: PASCAL, C, FORTRAN, BASIC
(include compiler specific)
characteristics: speed, code size, limitations
availability: shareware, commercial, private
I am particularly interested in animation. I need an animator that can
do internal animation of sprites (i.e. the little man's legs move as
he runs across the screen). Also, any text font routines that
are VERY flexible are needed.
