Does anyone have any suggestions for a cheap memory board that would work in a Leading Edge Model D and provide something around 384k or more EMS compatible memory? Cost is the biggest factor in this purchase since it is simply to breath some life into our PC class machines. I have tried the MINI-EMS board from Franklin Telecom (ordered thru Shamrock mail order). This board costs only $179 and has 768K of 120ns RAM and can backfill base memory to 640K. Unfortunately, this board returns a hardware error on bootup. Pressing a function key gets aroung the error and it seems to be working properly, but the error would indicate that it is either: -incopatible with the Leading Edge or -a poorly designed card If anyone out in Netland has another inexpensive board that they think I should consider, please let me know. thanx, hoctor@osiris
