[net.music] Einsturzende Neubaten

rpk@mit-eddie.UUCP (Robert Krajewski) (04/21/84)

They also appear on the new Fad Gadget single ``Collapsing New People,''
a kind of metal/dance (no thanks, SPK !) synthesis that even Billboard
Magazine has caught on to. EN-type stuff was supposed to be the next Big
Alternative Thing in England last year, but then along came the biggest wave
of shamelessly commercial pop in a long time.

The 12" of ``Collapsing New People'' (seems to be about the wasted-look types
that hang around the Batcave and discuss what they've read in NME and the Face)
has two mixes: London and Berlin. Also included is a track called ``Spoil
the Child'' which is quite different from either old or new FG, but is still
not very mainstream.
