I'm sure this has been asked before, but I would really like to have a CURSES package that I can use under MS-DOS with MSC 4.0. I've written an application in which I'd like to replace all those ANSI sequences to change color and move the cursor with calls that will write changes to a memory buffer and refresh the screen when all changes have been made (similiar to the curses library under XENIX). I've heard of PCURSES, is this such a package? Is there a place I can FTP it from, or would some kind soul mail it to me or provide further information? Thanks so much. Claus Giloi

I am also extremely interested in this idea. I would be
forever in someones debt for pointers to a CURSES package
whether its free or not.

You can get a curses package for MS-DOS by sending $5 to its author: Jeff Dean, 710 Chimalus, Palo Alto, CA 94306 -- Dominick Samperi, Manhattan College, New York, NY ...!ihnp4!cmcl2!manhat!samperi ...!ihnp4!cmcl2!phri!dasys1!samperi

I too would like a copy. The copy of PC-CURSES that I have now does not use cbreak mode correctly at all. Thanks in advance. -- Bob Jackson (rdj@ttrdf) 312-982-3578 AT&T Information Systems Computer Systems Division, 5555 Touhy Ave., Skokie, IL 60077 PATH: ...!ihnp4!ttrdf!rdj
