I am looking for a CGA compatible monitor for use with a Zenith PC. It needs to be 15" or bigger, and any tricks the monitor might use to increase character resolution would be great. Graphics is not important, this will be used by my 80 year old grandmother and my mother for word processing and spreadsheets. My grandmother has problems with the 12" screen they have now. Low cost would, of course, be great, but I will listen to all suggestions. Thanks in advance. --Joel -- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Joel Dunn, UNC-CH ADP, 440 W. The Sony XBR series of Television sets have several models with CGA compatible ports. Probably the least expensive way to get a large screen CGA monitor. You can get a 26" version for $800-$1000, complete with one of the best television's Consumer Reports has rated (they rated the 20" version). The television volume makes for much less expensive monitors than the limited computer-monitor market.
