[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Delay function for C

I need a function for (turbo) C which can delay on a millisecond basis
rather than the minimum 1-second sleep function of most C's.  Even 10th
or 100th of seconds delays would be better than nothing.  It doesn't have
to machine independent, but that would be a nice touch.  Has anybody
come across the source for such a function?  Thanks.
