We have experienced a problem with a Hercules EGA+ card installed in an
IBM PC with a monochrome monitor. The monitor will fail after
approxmatly 50 hours of use due to an open BU407D at TR23. The monitor
and the EGA+ card have been replaced with no effect. The system has
been upgraded with a 150 watt power supply. A screen saver utility is
installed.
Has anyone had a simuliar problem? Any information would be
appreceated.
