I'm looking for a device to plug into the keyboard connector which will look to a PC like a keyboard yet have no user-punchable buttons on it. The application is a furnace controller which runs completely without user intervention and for which, in fact, console input is distinctly unwanted. Unplugging the keyboard results in "Keyboard Error Hit F1 to continue" (real bright, eh?). Replacing BIOS ROMS is not a viable option. Neither is changing computers. What I really want is a null keyboard.
