I recently opened up the power supply for my PC AT compatible and found that the annoying high pitch noise that is generated when it gets warm is comming from a large capacitor (I was relieved to find that the noise was not comming from one of my hard drives). Can somebody give me a clue as to what is going on here, and perhaps how to fix the problem? The machine is a Leading Edge Modem MH, AT compatible, with two hard drives, and two floppy drives.
