I thought I saw something about going from prot mode to real mode a while
back, but can't find it in my saved tidbits. I realize that it involves
resetting the CPU if you have a '286, but I think there's some kind of magic
involved that gets you back where you want to be. Does anybody have this?
I want to play with protected mode using the Int 15H function that switches
to protected mode (listed in the recently posted interrupts list). If I can
get some code to work that reliably switches in and out of prot mode, I'll
post it. Hopefully in Turbo C.
By the way- just received TC version 1.5 here. Looks like bugs are fixed,
lots of functions added, basic compiler not touched yet. Debugger promised
Q1 1988 though.
