My Toshiba T1000 came with DOS in ROM and didn't come with GWBASIC. Can anyone tell me where I can get it or, even better, a freeware or shareware clone? Thanks! Check the ads in the January 'Computer Shopper'. The company is
"A.T.&T. <something>" (not THE "AT&T":-) and they have a full page ad for
various flavors of software - Atari, C64, TI, DEC Rainbow,
Timex/Sinclair, etc. - and they have DOS 2.11 and GWBASIC for < $40.
The DOS may be useless, but you will have a 'legal' copy of GWBASIC.
The T1100+ is happy with the versions of GWBASIC I've tried - including
the AT&T PC6300 GWBASIC, so a 'generic' GWBASIC will probably work.
