The group that I am working withis presently looking into the purchase of some new IBM PS/2 machines and I am looking for some way to convince them to spring for the extra $$ to buy Color monitors instead of boring black and white ones. I know that it is not necessary to have color, but it is awfully nice. At my previous job we all had EGA systems and it was terrific. They were a lot easier to work on, and long hours in front of the terminal were less draining. But, to get to the point, does anyone out in net-land know of any studies that have been performed which might show productivity gains among users of high resolution color systems (CGA resolution would probably show the opposite). If anyone knows of a study or anything else I could use as an arguement, please e-mail to me at the address below or post to the net. If I find anything interesting, I will summarize to the net. -- =============================================================================== | Dan Hochman, Atex Inc., A Kodak Company 1-617-276-7390 | | {ll-xn,genrad,munsell,kodak}!atexrd!danh | ===============================================================================
