I have a '386 PC with an 80 Meg hard disk which was nicely partition into 3 parts C:, D: and E:. After installing WINDOWS 2.0, I try to run EXCEL and saving data on drive D:, but for some peculiar reason, EXCEL does not recognize that I have partition D: and E:. A call to Microsoft tech-support revealed that they've changed the way WINDOWS 2.0 work and it is no longer compatible with FDISK (which I've used to partition the disk). Has anyone experience this problem??? Does anyone know if MS-DOS 3.30 will fixed this problem?? Also is there anyone who know of a third party disk-partition software (like SpeedStore(sp?)) that will work with WINDOWS 2.0. It seems to be a waste for having such a nice environment and not being able to access the whole disk. BTW- WINDOWS/386 has the same problem. -- Quotron Systems Inc. | Phone: (213)827-4600 x4259 5454 Beethoven Street | uucp: trwrb!scgvaxd!janus!trdrjo!tuan Post Office Box 66914 | Los Angeles, CA 90066 |************ Confucius said too much!! ***************
