OK, some of this has been batted around, but I haven't really seen the answer in one piece, so here goes with stupid question: Do the different versions of MS-DOS have different cluster sizes? (I've seen it, but which is which, etc.???) Do any of the have user-selectable sizes? Is there a utility which would allow one to change the cluster size before reformatting? I am stuck with a little hard disk with big clusters, and every little script (batch file) takes up a horrendous percentage of total disk. The above is one possible solution. Please E-Mail me any answers. I will summarize to the net as necessary.
