[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Problems with 286 processor under protected mode

Does anyout out there has information on the problems INTEL 286 step C 
processors have while running in protected mode, e.g. under VENIX and
other OS?  I would appreciate info on the problems, solutions or even
where to go get those info.
