Last month there was a nice big discussion in this group on laptops.
Naturally, 32 milliseconds after inews expired all those nice articles
I was assigned the task of evaluating the silly things. Can someone mail
me any and all of the discussion on the subject they happen to have?
(previously unposted stuff gladly accepted also -:)).
The info I specifically need is compatability, the chip used (80386 or
whatever), the screen size, and availability of a hard drive. I'd also
appreciate pointers to articles in magazines where several brands are
compared. Note that as the final purchaser is the military money is
no object (only part of a '-:) here). Oh, and please email me instead
of posting, this group has so much volumn I can seldom keep up with it.

I am also in the market for a laptop, and missed the previous discussion in this group. Small size/light weight are important factors for me. Many I've seen seem to require a steel I-bream reinforced lap... Thanx Jan Stetson
