[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Hardware determination

davejag@wybbs.UUCP (Dave Jaglowski) (02/03/88)

I am wrtiting a BBS program in PASCAL, and really need to know how programs like Nortons SI determine system hardware. In particular, the amount of memory (IE display memory, extra memory, and memory below 640K) and the addresses.
The others aren't as important. Also, I need information on interphasing with
expanded and extended memory drivers.

kitchen cockroaches, which are stangely immune to its effects."
