[comp.sys.ibm.pc] installing XENIX on an IBM PC

jonl@sco.COM (Owl Of Nite) (02/06/88)

I am currently attempting to install SCO XENIX 2.1.3 on my 4-yr-old
IBM PC (yes, that 4.77 Mhz 8086 BEAST), and i am (of course) having
a few problems. So far i have had to tweak the kernel to accept my
hard disk drive type regardless of whether IT thinks it is valid..
So i figured before i really start doing wierd things, id check and
see if anyone else has bothered to try to do this before (and succeeded).
