I recently downloaded a file called C33TRAP.ARC from a local bulletin board. The program is supposed to correct certain unspecified problems that one might have running DOS3.3 with a hard disk on an IBM clone. The documentation merely specified that if one is running DOS 3.3 on an IBM clone with a hard disk and having problems, then one should load the program into memory via the AUTOEXEC.BAT file. I have been running DOS 3.3 with a Tandy 4000 and a Seagate 30 meg hard disk. And I have been having all sorts of problems - mainly, bad sectors cropping up all over the place and the disk read procedure getting hung up (temporarily) every now and then. So I'm trying C33TRAP to see what happens. In the meantime, does anyone have any idea how it works or what problems DOS 3.3 has with hard disks on an IBM clone? --Just Curious
