[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Sticky Alt/Ctrl/Shift keys for handicapped people

mshiels@watmath.waterloo.edu (Michael A. Shiels (MaS Network Software)) (01/31/88)

I need to find some programs which were posted quite a while ago. They allow
the Alt/Ctrl/Shift keys to become sticky and once pushed they stay on till
the next key is hit. This works great for people with one finger or mouth
pointers etc. Thanx.

The documentation for Fansi-Console says that it can do this. I remember
it because I was impressed by that additional level of attention to user
needs in a very fine product.

Re: sticky shift (:-) & etc keys

A commercial solution is Borland's SuperKey.

their stuff.

RE: sticky shift, ctl, and alt keys

I just tried out XTreePro yesterday and noticed that it uses
F9 & F10 as sticky ctl & alt keys. Though this is only useful
within this one application, it does indicate that some companies
are starting to recognize this as a useful feature.
