I guess I was one of the lucky ones. I bought a CMI 20 meg AT drive for $75 and it works fine so far. My friend bought one also, and it didn't work. The repair company had it fixed in a week for $75 more. At $125 total, still not too bad. We all know about what CMI drives like to do so anyone building a cheap AT for hobbyist/home use may be quite satisfied. I sure wouldn't risk important business data on 'em though.
